thrashed, literally.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

this was probably our worst ever, and most demoralising defeat. if it wasn't already bad enough being outplayed and dominated, going 5-1 down on an unfamiliar pitch, the opponents had to taunt and laugh at us amongst themselves, and even went to the extent of injuring our players, of which, unfortunately i was among the injured ones. despite losing 7-2 to dhs2002 in our first game, this defeat ranks right up there as THE worst.

we weren't outplayed because we are a lousy team. rather, several conditions worked against our favour, like playing the match all the way in the far west, a pitch smaller than we usually play on which compressed our midfield, and in the physical department we totally lost out to these 20-30 something fuckers.

having a very important fixture to play next weekend, i still can't swallow the fact that i'm injured. and several of our players are down with injury as well.

"they all small kids dunno how to play football."
"here comes the useless long ball king."
"if not for their keeper save we already win double digit."

what kind of opponents are they? for most of the part they were taunting and abusing our players in chinese, because the ref was indian and our team was mostly malay. but those of us who understood what they were saying, i wouldn't have stopped anyone, not even benny, from starting a brawl with their players.

why do i say so? because i myself felt like standing up and giving that fucker the elbow after whacking me down onto the ground. i wanted to kill him, but i couldn't stand up. of course i had to come off 5 minutes later. what's his reasons for bringing me down like that, given the situation we were in:

1) less than 15 minutes to the end of the game, and they were 5-1 up with possibly no way we could score 4 to level the game.
2) i was just waiting for the ball to bounce out so i could make the throw-in.
3) if i hooked the ball down, my resulting dribbling path would be blocked by one of their players
4) i already had a very bad game because i had a minor injury in my right ankle
5) our sub bench only had 2 subs, as opposed to the 5 or 6 they had

so what the fuck for bring me down so violently, and cause this injury which is limiting my movement? and to rub salt to the wound, no card was given to them. and the resulting free kick was awarded to them. wtf!?

not only my foot is swollen but the area above my shinguard is also experiencing some internal bleeding as i type. i wearing shinguards so attack above my shinguards, and stomp on my foot in the process. i still consider myself lucky my foot isn't twisted and bones didn't fracture. sodiq also got stepped thrice on the same spot on three separate occasions. coordinated attack? i have a reason to believe so.

well done, i can't walk properly, and i've been limping since the final whistle.

the worst part is after the game when they went to look for the balls which had been kicked into the drain. those fuckers actually hid our team's ball in one of their cars, not intending to return it to us, until hairi went over to demand for it and they even tried to pick a fight with him.

what kind of anti-social behaviour is this? not one in the team but the entire team were so cocky and fucked up.

i swear i want a rematch, this time at our homeground, and i'm going to hack down their entire right flank in the last few minutes of the game. red card or not, i don't give a fuck.

been quite sometime..

it's been a long time since i last made a proper post. been rather busy with school and the S-League pre-season.

finally settled the assignments/presentations for 3 modules. last one is sbs (social behavioural studies) which is due next friday.

diploma term 1 has ended, with the exams coming up and term 2 beginning immediately after the exam ends.

went for the first S-League pre-season conference this morning. first time meeting P N Sivaji and the Home staff. they have pretty good ambitions for next season and i hope they don't need to rely on the tyco goals to win games.

Super Reds.. well i have no comments except i hope they don't shoot themselves in the foot again like last season.

lots of things coming right up in the next few weeks.

firstly, the exams are drawing nearer. need to study already. i'm going to give it all i got to get the As, especially for TPSW.

secondly, there are three games coming up for KRFC. this sunday we'll be playing our first away game at juying sec against the Orange Team, and the following sunday the ManUtd Singapore club, and the ChelseaFC supporters club two weeks later. hopefully i don't get injured in the crucial period leading up to my exams.

Geylang United 7 Katong FC 1

RIVALDO Costa and Masrezwan Masturi were the architects in Geylang's 7-1 thrashing of NFL Division 1 side Katong FC in a pre-season friendly earlier this evening.

The 27-year-old Singaporean forward flicked the ball into the path of Hafiz Rahim, who slammed in the opener just under 15 minutes.

Katong FC's Robert Eziakor equalised nine minutes later, but that was to be Katong's only goal of the game as they put in a commendable effort to keep out the Geylang attack for the rest of the half.

The second half began with Brazilian Junior firing the Eagles ahead with a coolly-taken volley into the bottom left corner.

Fatigue soon overcame the Katong side, as Masrezwan Masturi finished off Rivaldo Costa's chest down to score in the 51st minute and also nicked his brace 5 minutes later to make it 4-1.

Rivaldo Costa scored his long-awaited goal in the game in the 57th minute, beating a defender and firing a shot into the right bottom corner of the goal.

The goal of the game was definitely Rastilav Belicak's amazing 45 yard screamer which drew considerable awe and applause from the stands.

Geylang rounded off an excellent game with Rivaldo Costa scoring his second of the game after taking advantage of a poor backpass from the Katong defender.

Geylang's newcomers shine in friendly

Basil Yeo
KallangRoar.com (http://www.kallangroar.com/blog.php?b=27)

THREE out of four of Geylang United's new foreign signings made the scoresheet as they thumped NFL Division 1 side Police Sports Association 4-0 in a friendly at Bedok Stadium earlier today.

Familiar faces missing from Geylang's setup were national team defenders Noh Rahman and Baihakki Khaizan.

Brazilian Junior opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a header which ended off a brilliant overlapping play by Farizal Basri and Hafiz Rahim.

A few minutes later, Police SA had an opportunity to score from a free kick on the edge of the D, but the ball sailed way over the crossbar.

Former Sengkang goalkeeper Amos Boon was hardly tested, making only a few saves through the entire game, as most of the Police's attempts on goal ended up either hitting the side-netting or missing the goal completely.

The away side's best chance of the game probably came in the 26th minute when Farizal Basri horribly chested down a long ball in front of a stunned Amos Boon, but the Police forward stole the ball only to shoot it wide past the right post.

Six minutes later Rivaldo Costa made it 2-0 when he headed home a Noor Ali cross.

The Eagles continued to batter the Police goal for the remainder of the first half, scoring once more as Miroslav Latiak converted a penalty in the 39th minute.

Masrezwan Masturi made it 4-0 just three minutes after the restart, but that was to be the final goal of the game as both sides attempts to score failed to result in any goals.

Geylang United will be travelling to Malaysia to play four more friendlies before the season kicks off.

anger, sadness, frustration..

all the stress...

all the thoughts...

all the work...

all the problems...

it's driving me up the wall..

every night i lie on my bed and start to think.... thinking of everything that has been happening around me. i'm really almost on the verge of breaking down.. i never thought i could feel so weak..

i really don't feel myself lately, i haven't been able to think straight and clear. i feel so angry with myself, and extremely frustrated at the obstacles i'm being faced with.

most of the time i appear to be okay, but there are certain times when i start to get cranky and say stupid things. all thanks to stress.....

especially you. you know who you are.
sometimes in the thoughts of talking to you again, i completely forget the situation we are in right now.

if only i could turn back the clock.
if i had made you angry, i'm really sorry

just to let you know, if you still come and read what's going on here..

I DID receive your sms that day.

perhaps you were expecting a reply.
really, i wanted to, but i just didn't know what to say.

i just don't want to screw things up the way i did.
and i really am not ignoring you or something.

that time i said i had something to talk to you about, well, forget it.
i shouldn't talk about it anymore. at least not now.

i know it will never be the same......
